romwatch

A camera-based hand hypermobility screener

romwatch watches your hand through your webcam and checks it against two items of the Beighton score, the standard clinical hypermobility screening test: bending your thumb to your forearm, and bending your little finger back.

Both are passive tests. A clinician would push the joint into position for you, so here you use your own other hand to do it. Having both hands in frame is expected, and the app keeps measuring the hand you started with.

This is a screening aid, not a diagnosis. It is not a medical device and does not replace a clinician. All video processing happens locally in your browser. Nothing is uploaded anywhere.
